Oh this just keeps getting worse! Pope Francis Says You’re NOT Christian if You Own a Gun!!!! | |

Luke 22:36 Quoting: Joelim This is real strange. Is the Pope going against the bible? Good point, yes it appears that he is. That pope wouldn't know a Bible if it hit him in the head. He is a tool of Satan, pure and simple. |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 42362384 United States 06/23/2015 08:37 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The RCC used to control governments, maybe still does, so they can say their hands are clean and they don't actually invest in arms. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 69537425 Therefore the Pope says that if you invest in military industry you're not Christian. I guess the idea is that if you're attacked, don't defend yourself but turn the other cheek. Well that works pretty well doesn't it? And the Pope certainly did that in his climb to the highest power in the RCC. Oh wait he didn't? Turn the other cheek doesn't mean don't defend yourself. People would backhand slap slaves, and underlings. It simply means don't let someone back hand you in the face, make the strike you open handed as they would an equal. I'm Catholic, and I long sense stop caring what the Pope said, or what the Church said. INo you are NOT Catholic! Not according to them. I am SO sick of people saying they don't subscribe to basic catholic doctrines but the think they are Catholics - they are laughable. They are catholic by traditional identification only- kinda like most Jews that are really atheists and don't go to temple. You cannot take communion and are EXCOMMUNICATED if you use birth control , have unmarried sexual relations, are divorced, or whatever the Pope now ads to the list- like own a gun. Catholics are Papists. If you don't follow the Popea whims then you are NOT Catholic . loads of Christians are "lapsed Catholics" . Catholic =Pope followers. Americans are total hypocrites that use birth control or get abortions and divorces and then think they can go to Mass and receive communion. You just haven't looked into the mirror and faced up to your own belief that YOU can pick and chooe over the Pope and still be Catholic. The Popes of recent times are vile childfuckers and Benedict was indicted in The Hague of child abuse in international court and that is why he resigned. Go put money in the basket for the legal defense of pedophiles - that's where your donations go. Anyone who claims to be Catholic today and supports this system is too naive or evil to deal with, WAKE UP. |

I don't think the pope is talking about individual gun owners. I think this is more about arms manufacturers, but it begs the question, without arms manufacturers, where are individuals supposed to get the means to defend themselves? John 8:32 And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. |

Didn't he say that those who have no sword should sell their cloak and buy one? didn't he say that he came to set father against son and mother against daughter? maybe we should ban the bible for being divisive..since so many want to ban a flag..the books are next..and then the thoughts.. anything can be twisted to good or evil, it depends upon what you do with it. |

Jesus was telling His disciples to buy swords to defend themselves because He was about to be arrested and crucified. They were to be ready to travel with any money they had. So yes, Jesus told us to defend ourselves. |

No real christian would have owned a slave however most of the founders had slaves. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 69587831 Belgium 06/23/2015 08:48 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | not true. What I found: The story was posted in Feb 2012 on one or more Italian blogs and then by an online publication, Cronache Laiche (Lay Chronicles). A few days later, the publication updated it with a press release from Fabbrica Armi Pietro Beretta (FAPB) denying that IOR (Istituto per le Opere di Religione = the Vatican Bank) has any stake in Beretta Holding or in any company controlled by the holding. The press release reaffirmed that Beretta Holding is a private company owned by the Beretta family. [link to cronachelaiche.globalist.it] FAPB is wholly owned by Beretta Holding, which is controlled by the financial vehicle owned by the family, UPIFRA, a company registered in Luxembourg. Shareholding structure of UPIFRA and Beretta Holding: [link to isegretidellacasta.blogspot.c...38040531618959] Financial info on UPIFRA (May 2012): [link to www.ilmondo.it] The story specifies that UPIFRA has a stake of 97% in Beretta Holding. The only verifiable link between Beretta and IOR was that by 2005-2006, UPIFRA had a small stake (less than 5%) in Banca Lombarda, which was part of a consortium named Gruppo Lombardo, together with IOR and other 2 companies. At that time, the consortium had a small stake (again less than 5%) in Intesa Sanpaolo Bank. But this has nothing to do with IOR being a shareholder in any of the companies owned by the Beretta family. |

Although I may still keep my guns around to protect us from an attacking animal...you can get rid of those damned things too while you're at it. I never forgive and I never forget I am a licensed firearm holder. I will, under protection of law, use lethal force if attacked. |

Deceit, murder, war...Now research all (I mean all) of the other Popes. How many wars must a religion fight to gain a foothold? The answer may shock you. Popes stir war like their servants stir soup. It's just a right mix at the right time. War is brewing. His comments on guns doesn't help much. Why are people going to war over religious comments is beyond me in this day and age of science. |
