I'd hardly call it breaking. It is called electrolysis, been around for 200 years.

Problem is the first law of thermodynamics. Energy in=Energy out.

It takes just as much energy to split the molecules as is released when the are recombined(burning hydrogen).

Now if you find a working cold fusion reactor-or even regular hot fusion reactor. THAT I will be interested in.

An easier route to the same ends is using sodium to release the hydrogen from oxygen. Sodium is one of the most plentiful elements on earth, salt is sodium chloride and of course the oceans are full of it, and their are vast deposits of it globally. Sodium as a fuel in a hybrid generator is a known viable alternative to fossil fuel and it is suppressed by big oil.

No. The solution is using chemical reactions involving high level exothermic chemical reactions that produce hydrogen as a by product of the reaction.

There was a company called Black Light Energy from New Jersey and they demonstrated a way of pulling humidity from the air to charge a electric cars battery. Also showed how with a small amount of water they could power huge buildings, guess what happen to them...

How about the company that was taking garbage from dumps and turning it into higher grade oil then companies get from the ground? Again.. Mysteriously they vanished without a trace.

How about the idea of pulling energy directly from the ground to power an entire modern day home, TV, fridge, washer & dryer, everything..

Read the article. At best, 83% efficiency. So you are somehow generating electricity and losing efficency there (mostly from fossil fuels and coal), turn losing 17% to make hydrogen, then losing some more to turn that hydrogen back into functional energy.

A total waste of energy that would only ever make any economic sense with the benefit of massive taxpayer subsidies (like most renewables).

Old news and junk. HHO (aka browns gas) generatoes have been out for a long time but they ar2 fail because they take waaay too much electricity to split the water.

Water is the byproduct of hydrogen combustion. So it takes the same or greater amount of energy to convert it back to its unburned state. Due to inefficiencies, it takes more energy than was released when it combusted.
