How will you do that if the power grids go down? This water filter is for major doom scenario when you're drinking rain water, pond water......etc.

Thanks for the share OP, nice information to share. We've been getting some good rain and this is on topic for a lot of folks. Now you just need to step a little further into Aquaponic system... Grow some Tilapia in the tank and veggies on top. It can be used anywhere, get some clean water, fish and greens, a few tomatoes and we're good to go for a long stretch. One thing I was thinking about is to add some cooked, canned beans, so not a lot of cooking (or wood burning) to get some food for everyone. A quick, quiet meal could save a life, in more ways than one. And pack some seasoning in your stash, since plain food can get old quick, without a few seasonings. I have recently run across a dehydrated hash browns that is great. I would definitely put some of those in my survival pack. They are in a pint sized milk carton, you add hot water and let set for about 10 minutes, then cook and they are wonderful. Thanks again OP.tomato
One back turns in parting to turn and turn again. Leaving is never going, its circling round the bend.
