Donations to churches are down big. Especially the Catholic Church. You used to go to Mass and every pew was full and people were standing. Now, this only happens on Christmas and Easter. Catholics are angry and they are angrier at this pope who keep sending out envelopes to fill to support his year of the family stuff. He must not be getting his desired donations as we've gotten the heavy envelope twice. And they make it so you can't just shred it because there is stuff in the envelope that jams the shredder. They still haven't gotten it, that American Roman Catholics are angry and they are showing that anger by cutting off donations. |

You would think so, but look at the fraud perpetrated on the people from the federal reserve since 1913, then look at the fraud perpetrated on the world since 1971 (dollar taken off the gold standard and replaced with empty promises) and then look at 2 world wars and multiple other wars and millions of deaths and then look at millions more aborted babies and then look at the radiation, pollution, moral degradation etc. One perspective may say that punishment for sins is intended to produce an effect in the sinner, repentance. But I think this nation is beyond the ability to repent so in a way it may be possible that punishment for our collective sins never comes. And in a way that is the punishment as God may be leaving us to rot in our sewer of sins, defacing and degrading our spiritual personages forever. . |

Whether Pike was using Lucifer as a metaphor for human reason rather than the actually worship of Lucifer is debatable, but I suspect he was serious about Lucifer as a real god, a real force which will supplant and over come Christ. So take care. You obviously don't know enough theology, philosophy, history or world politics to endorse Lucifer over Christ. You think all this is "religion," and a consumer choice, when what you are doing is undermining the foundation of personal self, and building your self and reality on a foundation of sand, which will blow away in the first storm. The organization is going into apostasy. The real church is the body of Christ of believers, and that church has gone underground. |

(Matthew 18:7) – Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln Memorial We the people are the rightful masters of both Congress and the courts, not to overthrow the Constitution but to overthrow the men who pervert the Constitution. – Abraham Lincoln, Lincoln Memorial Whereas, the Senate of the United States, devoutly recognizing the Supreme Authority and just Government of Almighty God, in all the affairs of men and of nations, has, by a resolution, requested the President to designate and set apart a day for National prayer and humiliation… – Abraham Lincoln “Intelligence, patriotism, Christianity, and a firm reliance on Him who has never yet forsaken this favored land, are still competent to adjust in the best way all our present difficulties.” – Abraham Lincoln, President, March 4, 1861 inaugural address United States Supreme Court “This is a Christian nation” – United States Supreme Court Decision in Church of the Holy Trinity v. United States, 1892 “Our laws and our institutions must necessarily be based upon and embody the teachings of the Redeemer of mankind. It is impossible that it should be otherwise; and in this sense and to this extent our civilization and our institutions are emphatically Christian…This is a Christian nation” – United States Supreme Court Decision in Church of the Holy Trinity v. LOL, our Founding Fathers believed in religious beliefs being personal, not legislated. The SCOTUS decision was a labor dispute, and the Justice who called the US a Christian nation extrapolated further later: "But in what sense can it be called a Christian nation? Not in the sense that Christianity is the established religion or that people are in any matter compelled to support it. On the contrary, the Constitution specifically provides that 'Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof.' Neither is it Christian in the sense that all of its citizens are either in fact or name Christian. On the contrary, all religions have free scope within our borders. Numbers of our people profess other religions, and many reject all. Nor is it Christian in the sense that a profession of Christianity is a condition of holding office or otherwise engaging in public service, or essential to recognition either politically or socially. In fact, the government as a legal organization is independent of all religions. Nevertheless, we constantly speak of this republic as a Christian Nation--in fact, as the leading Christian Nation of the world. This popular use of the term certainly has significance. It is not a mere creation of the imagination. It is not a term of derision but has substantial basis--one which justifies its use." One judge declaring in a brief his opinion that the US is a Christian nation in a case unrelated formally declaring the US a Christian nation does not usurp the Constitution and make the US a Christian nation. |
