Or... you could look at history and see that California regularly experiences several years of drought, mixed in with "normal" years, and El Nino extremely wet years. It'll pass. Ride it out.

Yeah, but it's a huge state. So much of it is sparsely populated. And many of the populated areas are pretty cool.

It's just personal preference. Weigh the good and the bad. :)
