On the same day Collins made the announcement about his sexuality, Robinson became the first amputee to complete Army air assault school (finishing the grueling course is something West also accomplished during his military career). How big of an accomplishment is this? It’s huge. The air assault course is so tough that Robinson’s prosthetic leg broke twice over the 10 days spent rappelling down ropes, navigating obstacle courses and completing the difficult tests. “There were no phone calls from the commander-in-chief, no magazine covers, no tweets giving him praise and accolades,” West says in the video. “However, Sgt. 1st Class Greg Robinson does not need their confirmation, he is an American hero.”

The issue is the inability to really share in a feat as this as most egos would die due to their own ineptitude.
