OH MY GOD!!! Documentary about animal cruelty.

I think animal cruelty laws here in America need to be changed, people get a slap on the wrist and a fine for unspeakable evil. This goes for cruelty against humans too.

I absolutely agree. This world is being misled beyond the wrong direction.

It's always about money and it sickens me. And money is not even money, just printed paper. Man is not in control of the economy.

I once did a report on animal cruelty/abuse a long time ago and it was one of the things that helped to wake me up.

There is a long line of serial killers, domestic abusers, etc. with a history of being cruel to animals. Made me realize that if someone has a tendency of harming or killing animals for a past-time enjoyment they'll also have a tendency to becoming people who'll kill or hurt other people just for plain enjoyment.

Makes sense because animals are living breathing creatures too. We, as humans, keep some of them as pets...some are treated just like another family member even. They can be very similar to children too.

You should look up white tigers in zoos and abuse.
The white tiger-gene is unnatural and they're often born with defects like cross-eyed, blindness, and quite a few others that no creature should have. Yet people find enjoyment in seeing them and as such zoos purposely breed to get them because it's 'neat to see a white tiger'.
I used to love white tigers until I looked into it and saw what this does to the animals. It's all very sad.

The extremely light penalties on animal cruelty are very alarming, to say the least. It makes no sense.

We are all as the documentary said earthlings and have rights. Animals feel pain just like humans do, possibly even more. They shouldn't be captured in any case, whether the reason is to put them in a zoo or to "train" them for some circus act, experimentation or whatever. It's always about money so really there is no excuse.

These so called "people" that were shown in the documentary, i wonder how they could live with themselves?

I have no problem seeing people shot. But animals i cant watch. My hole stomache turns around then. And pictures i cant forget. So i dont gonna watch

The many ways they slaughter them. I don't trust any zoo or animal shelter, i just can't.
Animals doing unbelievable tricks, an elephant in the circus for example? So many animals are afraid not to do it out of fear of getting punished.

For all those who don't want to watch the video (face the truth), then at least watch the first minutes of this videos just to see the innocent children's reaction to a video which (I guess) is similar to OP's:

I watched this last fall and it still haunts me. The scene with the pig....I was practically begging it to at least retaliate. And then when they took it outside and started beating on it, they freakin gloated about it, like they thought it was hilarious.

They claim there has to be certain standards. I can't remember, but something to do with making sure the animal is dead before X is done....They do it while they are still alive and thrashing around. And crying. It is freaking horrible.

I only popped in to say that I can't watch the video. I've looked at a few of these and like seeing the ISIS beheadings on the beach - they are images that I can never "un-see".

I am involved in animal rescue (horses from slaughter pens) and advocate that people stop breeding animals (cats, dogs, any animal really) they can't take responsibility for for life, but I can't watch these awful videos any more.

Thanks for posting though - I hope it encourages people to spay, neuter, and not breed animals unnecessarily.
