Loud explosion sounded in sky over Northern California

Just out back for a smoke, it sounded like thunder at first. Only louder.. So I looked up real quick and it was almost like I could feel it like a shockwave moving south to north. Never heard anything like it before. Logic tells me military jet maybe, which even then is super rare around here, but I didn't see anything. Anyone else in the area hear that too? Siskiyou County, just south of Oregon border, around 2:00 pst
