Demand an end to the YULIN DOG MEAT festival

OP, why don't you first sign the petition of ALL the other kinds of animals that are curently being tortured on famrs in THIS country??? YES, I mean TORTURED!!! Why penalize the chinese for what their choice of meat is, they eat whatever is available, dogs, frogs, rats, roaches...
Why be such a hypocrate? I understand if our country was perfect but it's very far from it when it comes to animals. Just because dogs are favorite house pets here, doesn't mean they are somehow inferior to other animals when it comes to pain and feelings. So please...really makes me sick!

These pets are robbed and snatched from their families and homes, dragged by a rope attached to a car, boiled alive, skinned alive, tortured, kept in small cages and beaten very badly.

I'm going with 2 friends. I have another friend that has an organization here rescuing dogs. We'll take them or buy them if it needs to. Bring them here and find them homes in Europe.

Yes, this is one of the cruelest, longest, form of suffering for these dogs. When the dead dogs are shown, their faces show the gnashing of their teeth from the long-suffering death. Not to mention, they spend days cramped in hot crates awaiting their fate.

Plus, a lot of these dogs are stolen.

Now, it is one thing to hunt with ethics, take down game with a clean shot, but totally ANOTHER for these sadistic people to RELISH the suffering.

And that's not true. Activist groups are getting bigger every year of the festival, traveling over there and seizing/buying up the dogs. Google it. The more exposed it is, the more activists rally. China's govt is feeling the pressure.

You may not be able to stop the occasional pooch from the pot, but the festival will get smaller and smaller. Like the dolphin cove slaughter. They didn't stop that completely but no companies are allowed to buy show dolphins from them anymore. Baby steps. That barbaric shit will end eventually.
