Nope. The three cantons of Western (Syrian) Kurdistan are being joined, with the blessing of the West. Western Kurdistan already has a deal in place for joint government with Southern (Iraqi) Kurdistan and its Kurdistan Regional Government. Turkey is being set up to be the tipping point for the creation of a greater Kurdistan in the region. And anyone who knows anything at all about the Kurds knows that they are well-deserving of statehood. Most recently, they have proven this by being the ONLY ones fighting ISIS without defecting TO ISIS, giving weapons TO ISIS or falt out running away (Iraqi "Army"). Turkey has been supporting ISIS all along against Kurds, not Assad. Everyone knows that. Tons of ISIS fighters killed or captured have had MIT or Turkish IDs, there are videos of Turkish soldiers chatting with ISIS fighters at the border, letting them cross, lines of semi trucks carrying supplies from Turkey to the ISIS capital of Raqqa, etc. etc. "Good luck with jihad" is now the common greeting in Turkey when seeing a traveler obviously affiliated with ISIS. There are entire neighborhoods devoted to ISIS recruitment and Jihad Hospital in Gaziantep whose sole purpose is to treat wounded ISIS fighters.

Like I said before...when Turkey falls all kinds of shit will approach the fan. The Russians will control Turkey and it won't cost a nickel.

Best part of all of this is there isn't a damn thing Russia can do to stop it. Sure, they can secure their port, but that's about it. Assad has already lost more than 70% of the country and Russia hasn't done anything to help.

No one ever thought it was weird how the West was turning a blind eye to hundreds of thousands of radicals coming through Turkey to Syria and Iraq? Or the sultan/caliph wanna-be Erdogan building that ridiculous palace all of the sudden? It's not personal, it's just business. Turkey is sliding rapidly into Islamic extremism and Kurds have always been a Western ally, even when they have been betrayed (repeatedly). Given Turkey's Islamist and anti-Western leanings, Kurdistan and its unmatched oil and gas resources are now a better strategic ally. Not only do they promise exploitable resources, but an even more strategic position for US bases, from which to monitor all of the unfriendlies in the region, now including Turkey.
