Everyone that voted for him voted for a lark, because the other guys were so boring. If Trump really does show up on the ballot, we have something to look forward to, I can vouch for the fact that it felt really good to vote for Jesse Ventura, I felt like I got away with something that day, it was pretty funny actually. A lot of other people must have felt the same way. And honestly, the run of Presidents we've had have been so pathetically bad, they never talk about the actual issues that people are actually concerned about, like immigration, jobs and street crime, and energy independence, and support for entrepreneurs, and the horrible state of the federal budget, etc. etc. If we had a guy in there who wasn't afraid to put his foot in his mouth and just say how he sees it and let the dust settle afterward, it would be a huge improvement. God knows we need someone with real world business experience, Trump might be a shyster but at this point I'd prefer a business shyster over a political shyster. At least he's somewhat in touch with reality on some level. |
