Man pictured in 'Isis flag' near Big Ben and Houses of Parliament in London
Police have confronted a man draped in what appeared to be an Isis flag, as he walked past the Houses of Parliament with a young child on his shoulders waving a miniature version of the parchment. Startling images of the incident shows the man walking past a group of scouts with a black flag around his shoulders as he carries a flag-waving young child dressed in pink. The photos were taken by a tourist and posted on a Korean web forum, according to the Evening Standard.

Police officers spoke to the man, but he was not arrested as carrying a flag or emblem in itself is not an offence.

wtf

You stupid British law states:

Section 5 of the public order act - a person is found guilty (a) if uses threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour, or disorderly behaviour, or (b)displays any writing, sign or other visible representation which is threatening, abusive or insulting.

So this Moslem was breaking your law. Why was he NOT arrested?

A 49-year-old resident of the UK was detained and tried in court after making a Nazi salute and singing the words Auschwitz and Birkenau to a Jewish teenager at a hospital in Wrexham, the Daily Telegraph reported Friday.

Police discovered a Nazi flag draped on the banister and a swastika badge in Zbinigw Lebek's apartment in the city.

A man was arrested on suspicion of inciting racial hatred after police said a Nazi flag was displayed in full public view at a block of flats.

The 54-year-old was quizzed last week after the large Swastika flag was spotted in a window at a block on the Gascoigne Estate in Barking, said police.

Officers visited the flat on Wednesday and the flag was taken down.

The Met said displaying material inciting hatred is a criminal offence under the Public Order Act 1986.

The man was put on police bail while the Crown examines the case.

A Met spokesman said: “A 54-year-old man was arrested under section 18 of the Public Order Act 1986, which states that it is a criminal offence to use words or behaviour or display material with intent to incite racial hatred.

“The flag has now been removed by police. The suspect has been released on police bail pending a decision from the Crown Prosecution Service.”

You should setup a petition for the officers to resign.

I wouldn't worry about it, at least he clearly identified himself to the security professionals, could help them make other connections. Though it would be infuriating!!!
