How will the Grexit affect Greece-Turkey relations?
Could Turkey invade the rest of Cyprus once Greece leaves the EU? Or could Turkey attack Greece? What if the EU promises to bring Turkey into the EU if they go after Greece?

Re: How will the Grexit affect Greece-Turkey relations?
What advantage would the Turks have in invading the rest of Cyprus?

Greece will definitely suffer military budget cuts; however I don't think the Turks will exploit it.

Turkey is now offering to help bale Greece out. One wonders if Putin has been whispering in someone's ear over in Ankara.

I answered your question. Just because a statement is a question does not mean it's not an answer.

To clarify and answer your question again.

Turkey = NO ATTACK GREECE

why?

= Because NO REASON

*but srsly, there haz 2 be a reazon*

answer = NO REASON

*explain plz*

Greece is relying on Russia building its new pipe line that would turn Greece in to an energy hub in SE Europe. Pipe line goes through Turkey, everyone makes money which Greece wants.

Turkey has more to worry about than the Greeks. They have the Kurds trying to form Kurdinstan in N.Iraq and NE Syria. ISIS (which it controls) in Turkeys southern borders. You have Iran who is becoming more powerful by the day and is on the path to trying to over take Turkey as the most powerful presence in the Middle East.

And then you have Greece... First off I'm not even going to get in to NATO (they are both in it DUHH) and why the hell would the Turks invade southern Cyprus? If you understood the N.Cyprus invasion in the first place than you would understand that issue is solved. Right now the bigger issue in Cyprus itself is that it would be more advantageous to reunify than to be sour neighbors.

Once again. Turkey go in to Cyprus = NO

why = because no advantage

OK

Re: How will the Grexit affect Greece-Turkey relations?
Are you kidding! The Turks love this. First they set up in the US to run the largest operation of "public" tax payer funded charter schools in the US, then divert the funds and launder them through Iran and other "charities" and organizations not so friendly to the US, Open the largest expansion of Real Islamic spreading charter schools throughout the world, and the Greeks that are on their knees, are easy targets for exploitation from Turkey. The Turks you better believe are going business wise into Greece to spread Islam and there messed of ideals, through again US backed basically, Islamic charter schools. The Turks have a goal, a vision, and they aim on being back in the Ottoman Empire.

You all think Mr. Gulen the Islamic cleric hiding out here in the US, and being in all these Turkish teachers and administrators really care about American children? How about our politicians getting back huge kickback from charter school, and their Tech, and testing affiliates. Don't you know our government is heavy in bed with the very Islamic Turks. There is hardly any Christians or Jews left in Turkey. They are not a multicultural nation as they socially, passive aggressive, deceptive, and you are all going to have your head spinning by what the Turks agenda is. The Turks are very nationalistic, stuck up, and they hate America. The Devil comes out of Turkish politics.

Go ahead America the foolish. Keep sending your kids to Turkish run charters, or any so called "public" (LOL) charter schools for that matter, in the US while you claim that you are parents ", in the know" and wishing to do the best for YOUR child. All this, while you screw the regular and over, overwhelmingly, a much high quality, regular public schools and education.

Never mind you never took the time to go to one regular school board meeting to know what was really going on. Besides charter school parents are the most ignorant fools around, led like sheep to the slaughter of this nation. They will send their kids to school with a take our services or leave it mentality, rather then use democratic processes in the public school system to make education better for ALL students as well as their own.

Meanwhile , with all the fraud involved in charter schools in general, as most charter schools do not measure up to most regular public schools, the obvious deception is seen in state standardized test score vs. SAT scores. Yah that right. Most charter school students don't do that well on the SATS. They can quality best for the local community college and military service though. How nice of the Turks and the charter school systems to indoctrinate the youth into sympathy for the region around Turkey and Islamic culture. How nice that parents are wiling fools to allow their children to grow up and be cannon fodder for the situation that is brewing.
wtf So clueless!

It will not be a military invasion. It will be a Turkish indoctrination and business invasion. Greece is already broken from within so they will be easy pickings. Our US politicians, and the wealthy eleites are heavily invested in Turkish financial systems to care about their own root/ home nations. Remember the wealthy can always relocate if their environment becomes untamed. We are the ones stuck with the fall out of the choices we let them make for us, in misdirecting us to support their corrupt indevers. Education is the biggest influencer of the future. Please support you local regular public schools. Please stop believing in charter school hype.
