Why are Christians so wish washy?

First off there is no such thing as a christian.
To be a christian is to be christ-like and there is not one person on this planet who can fill those sandals.

And to answer your question,
Religous ppl sometimes have very difficult times when making decisions its like the devil and the angel on your shoulders skit you see in cartoons or on tv.

Well most want to do good, but when your mother is unsure of something she will assume the decision she has made came with the help of god himself but in actuality it was just her.

You are born of your own freewill, the last time god intervened was with the gift of his son to mankind

John 3:8 The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit."

Here's an example,

One week God causes us to wash the dishes for a family member, giving that person a break and bringing glory to God

Next week God moves us to not wash the dishes all week because another family member has been lazy, God wants to make a mess so the lazy person finally does them.

It might appear wishy washy but God has a plan.

Christians are 2 faced , judgemental , hypocritical , liars that go to church to compare clothes and cars.

I got nothing against God.

It's his hypocritical fan club I can't stand.

Those Christians are regular people. Doing the same things you yourself do.

A real Christian lives blamelessly, 10 people might pray to God, but God only knows 1 of them. 1000 people might claim to be saved, but only 1 is a Son of God in the likeness of Jesus.

Many are called but few are chosen. Narrow is the path to salvation, so narrow few find it.

Totally agree, it makes me laugh, its like i cant disagree with anything she does, because god directed her to her decision. When in fact it is just her using god as her excuse or validation when in fact it isn't.

Ive tried to point this out to her, just makes her more defensive.

And that seems to be the masses. Finding a true christian is like finding a needle in a haystack.

its called being a sinner. just because you believe in God does not magically turn you into a non-sinner.

so what happened to the thief on the cross? you know, the one that didn't have time to change his ways or "live blamelessly"?
