I DJed at Spring Awakening. I am a larger artist but not rich by any means, although my living costs are nearly non existent. I know Sonny well and he is truly an individual. Everything he has done has come through his own hard work and initiative. His record label is owned by him and is not a subsidiary of any other labels. He is worth millions of dollars and doesn't live like it. You won't ever be hearing about him buying a huge mansion. He's only in the spotlight because it comes with the territory. Diplo is a little bitch boy tbh- doesn't worship satan. Money, possibly.. but the EDM industry is largely separate and removed from the mainstream, corporate bullshit you hear on the radio. The song with justin bieber is a chance for his company and his artists (including me) to grow... the many millions he has is not nearly enough to keep us all afloat and he is more than generous in every aspect of his life. I won't tell you my name but many people you might be quick to jump at and criticize are definitely on your side. We're on the web and reading a lot just like you, and even on sites like GLP, even though we all know it's a limited hangout. But it's our limited hangout!

Sonny doesn't do any drugs. "Molly" and mushrooms and other drugs have been a part of dance, rave, and all genres of music and music culture, for a long time, at all levels - the underground to the corporate mainstream. It's just a cultural cliche, neither tongue in cheek or serious. No more no less.

Yes, most of the crowd was fucked up on something. It happens. Psychedelics and dopaminergenic drugs don't make you worship satan or the government. They cause your brain to react to chemicals resulting in an altered state, no different than being drunk or smoking pot or drinking coffee. It's probably not smart to do them in public but it happens. It's just a giant dance party.

The artist has nothing to do with the stage design. This is done by the company in charge of the show, or even a third party hired by them. In this case, it's REACT entertainment.
The amount of pillars is not a hidden message. There needs to be an even amount of speakers due to an issue with sound called phasing. Those aren't pillars in the sound booth, those are poles holding up the tent. It's a literal tent, and the ones to the left and right are columns holding speakers so everyone behind can hear the music.

Also notice that they aren't doing the bullshit triangle thing all the artists are doing with their hands, but a U for the name of their group.
