Purple is opposite yellow on the color wheel. The purple shampoo will reduce yellow color in gray hair and reduce brassiness in blondes. The longer you leave it in, the more ashy (cool toned) and less brassy (warm toned) your hair will be. It's possible that THE DONALD went a bit overboard and left it in too long. |
