Rupert Murdoch has attacked the reality TV star and Republican presidential hopeful Donald Trump for his virulently anti-immigrant campaign.

Donald’s entry into this race can only be attributed to the fact that the good Lord is a Democrat
"Mexican immigrants, as with all immigrants, have much lower crime rates than native born. Eg El Paso safest city in US. Trump wrong," Mr Murdoch tweeted on Sunday night.
