No fucking shit bro! Self employed here too and I have to drive a lot from client to client. Every asshole and their brother is out driving around during the day now....7 days a week. Does nobody have a job anymore??? Where the fuck are they getting the money for cars & gas, cell phones and weed???

the worst part about the boomers is they actually believe this tactic will work forever. theyre so clueless and retarded they are scarcely aware of where the money they enjoyed came from. there is only so many times you can pump up the economy before it just collapses into a wilted blob.

they often talk about 'working your way up' but you if you look at the numbers, they tell a totally different story. the average boomer could support a family on ONE SALARY, with no HIGHER EDUCATION, two cars, 10 year mortgage on a suburban house. That sort of lifestyle is considered to be only for the very wealthy today.

Problem is they don't want to actually have to show up on time and actually stay all 8 hours.
The time they do spend on the job is usually spent in the bathroom,playing on their phone,or both.

Dang, I liked that deli. I live in Woony and I completely understand how it's so hard to find reliable employees. The reason the deli's in Smithfield and Cumberland are working out is because those are more affluent towns than the city of Woony, just look at the median household income of those towns and compare it to Woony and you'll see my city is poor as shit while having some of the highest property taxes in Rhode Island. The schools in Cumberland and Smithfield are better by a huge margin, Woony schools are some of the worst. I read in the newspaper earlier this year that among minorities the dropout rate is close to 80%. There are no jobs here either, the walmart moved to North Smithfield, the Diamondhill strip with Walnut Hill Bowl is pretty much abandoned and CVS is building their new facility in Mass, fucking Raimundo did NOTHING to convince CVS to stay/expand in Woony. Luckily I took advantage of the situation and bought a house cheap in 1 of the only areas of town that's actually nice. It's not just Woony though, my state is screwed in so many ways. EB (electric boat)has many job openings they can't fill because people either fail drug screening, don't have transportation or lack basic skills like math. Shit my company in Mass has been having a hard time finding competent workers who show up on time and have basic math skills. Many people I know, especially in Woony, want me to run for mayor or even governor when Gina Raidumbo's first term ends but I honestly dont't care anymore. Even if I were to win the race for mayor or Govnernor it would take a miracle to reverse the damage done by Governor Gump and Raidumbo. It's a shit sandwich I tell ya.

I pretty much agree that Millenials are crappy workers. I consider myself a pretty good worker but I have encountered some shitty small business owners. Have you ever tried to work for an Arab or a Chinaman? Some of them are really fucked up and the will screw a worker any chance they get.

You're pinning the blame on the wrong generation. The Baby Boomers got a raw deal as well. They'll also most likely never see all that money they spent their entire lives paying into social security either.

You want to blame any generation, you can blame mine. There's a reason we're called the "Lucky Few". We are the ones who raised the mid to second wave of Baby Boomers. We have a great work ethic, though. We are thrifty and avoid debt like the plague. But we are the ones who could buy a home and raise a family on one-income, not the Boomers. The Boomers were just small children or still yet to be born in the 50's when 20th century America was at its peak. It's been all downhill from there.

My company requires a urin test before being hired on from temp status to full time, a drug test is automatic if someone is involved in any kind of accident involving a machine like a foklift.
