I saw this story elsewhere. So tell me, how do they know this rock is full of platinum?

What could possibly go wrong?

The BIS has directed the Central Banks and our own FED to keep the PMs down and out price-wise.
If miners here on the ground can't turn a profit, how can someone pay for a space flight to an asteroid, find some way to brak out this supposed platinum and return it to Earth at a profit, hmmm?

These stories are all part of the propaganda to drive down the prices of PMs in general, to support the failing and flailing fiat currency paradigm the tribe has used to rule the world for the last several hundred years.

They have no way to know, without doubt, this rock contains any platinum.

Not only the precious metals we know about but possibly isotopes of elements that we have not or cannot synthesize and are not present on Earth. Imagine some Element 226 just under the surface. Who knows what magic that element does.
