Quoting: Problematique I've never believed them to be anything from the future. Interesting. People in my family have seen lights in the sky, but I've personally never seen anything (yet). I hope I do someday. I've seen many. The first when I was about 14, later I found out it was probably the government testing 3d-holographic technology in the falling ash from one of the Mt. St. Helen's eruptions. We knew even way back then, when we saw the Ghost Wolf projections going around the camper we were in, that they were quite obviously FAKE. That was back in the early 80's. Others I have seen since then did some pretty miraculous maneuvering. Last Edited by Deplorable KC_Goldshine on 07/29/2015 12:57 AM KC_Goldshine "Know guns, no crime. I've seen ... satellites and military flares. And that's it :) I used to live in Phoenix and went hiking in the mountains there too. I never saw anything there. This was way before the Phoenix Lights. Since then out in the woods in Washington State I've seen many. Sometimes coming down low over the mountains, totally silent, and lit up slightly off-white. I've flashed spotlights and flashlight beams at them and have had them flash me back. Once had one come and hover over me silently and then flash me, a few times even. Also saw one start swinging like a pendulum up and down for about a half-hour or 45 minutes too. They are all always totally silent. Many others travelling side-by-side and passing others some times, these were usually way far up in the sky. After flashing one, one time, I saw it get shot with a streaking fireball and disabled. It then turned on some kind of emergency flashing distress signal beacon, reduced speed about 90 percent and started moving around very erratically until it a few seconds later it disappeared. That is SO COOL. I'm jealous! :) I still live in Phoenix, so I think that's probably the problem -- the city lights basically make it impossible to see anything in the sky, really. I need to get out into rural areas more and just do some stargazing. |
