Therefore he should have never stopped the kid, or walk away saying in a MATURE ADULT PROFESSIONAL way "Yeah I gotta get my lights checked out since this keeps happening". Asshole.

This is definitely a fishy case, I've never had a gun Jam more than two bullets and that's rare, I dont think the kid deserved it from what I saw however this whole thing could have been avoided, all the kid had to do was give him the license, but honestly I don't think that cops life was threatened in any way

It continues to amaze me the lengths that people will go to defend police officers that were clearly in the wrong. I mean there are cases that we could never be sure about and the cop was probably in the right. Then, there are cases like this or the one where the guy was running away and there was video of him just blasting the guy in the back. Remember all the people defending that cop?

There is a type of person who will defend their behavior no matter what the evidence. I guess these people think a police officer should be able to do whatever the hell they want and never be accountable for anything. I don't even see the cops that much to blame for this stuff. It's us who are to blame for allowing it and especially the people who think cops should be given Carte Blanche to do whatever they want. People who believe that are fascists just like the fascist cops they defend.

Remember the time before tasers when cops used to have to wrestle people to the ground or fight with them to make every arrest. They did this while having a gun on their hip that the suspect would be in close quarters to grab and they would still go for their billy club instead of gun and beat a suspect or mace him rather than shoot him. There was a lot less of this killing back then and there was much more of a threat to officers.

Nowadays, cops just stand there eating donuts while they tase the hell out of someone in order to make an arrest. If that doesn't work; the solution is to just pull out their gun and blow the guys head off if he doesn't comply. The retired cops of those days probably see this new crop of pig as the biggest pussies to ever live.
