Google's Deep Dream Messing With Your Mind!

Those Deep Dream images floating around right now may be dangerous!

First let me tell you my story and begin by telling you that I ran this on Mac OS10.11

I followed this guide to setting up a linux VM, and getting the python container to run, it was very simple I only had to install a few things and use some terminal commands.

After getting everything up and running, I started running images through it, specifically a module that continuously repeats creating extremely out there images. It's fairly resource heavy(or maybe that's my machine being old) so it took a while. Every so often I would check out the images as they got stranger and stranger before my eyes. I saw the patterns developing in front of me and was simply amazed!

I spent the rest of the weekend running various images I have on my computer through the Deep Dream. I must've spent at least 10-12 hours looking at the damn things admiring all the details.

Here's where it gets weird:
MY brain began seeking the patterns I saw in the images where no patterns were present in reality. This sensation was incredibly hard to explain and that's the best I could come up with. I was not hallucinating, and have no history of mental illness(but let's not rule that out). I was also sober minded when it started, but changing my sobriety had no effect. Next day gone completely, I haven't looked at any Deep Dream shit until today, and so far nothing.
