Love Is Really The Only Law Of God

Would you agree that humans, in and of themselves, are defective and not prone to exhibit or emit God's love?

Those claiming to serve Him, however, are allegedly in union with Christ Jesus and are commanded to love even their enemies, as He did. Reprimand for the venomous Pharisees does not exclude love; it exemplifies love as an impulse to correct injustice. . .as parents, hopefully we're not content to allow our children to remain disobedient & rebellious, thus we address unacceptable behavior, yes? "Whom He loves, He chastens".
The *lack* of love displayed by God's fanclub is exactly why He rebuked them. In their minds, they had their status and wealth - why should they give a damn about someone else's plight? This should sound plenty familiar.

Scripture kind of states that spiritual things are not discerned by the carnal mind. God is Love and God is a Spirit, and we may want to assess whether we share His intent to set things right, or simply want to see the thing burn and move on. This is the difference between being spiritually-minded (and potentially an Overcomer) and being a short-sighted Laodicean hack who's missed the point. Food for thought.
