Where are you in East TN if you don't mind my asking..... in Jefferson City, ATT would ju mp from no signal to 5 but when it had a good signal and I tried to call it would ring a funny shorter than normal ring for 20 seconds them I would get a message saying the call could not be completed. My wife was right beside me and both have identical iPhones one would have a good signal and the other would say searching we tried calling 611 and got the call could not be completed. Funny thing is we called 911 when we saw an accident pn an lightly traveled rural road and the call went right through. We ended up calling 911 3 times to give them more info and each time the call would connect perfect. hang up from the 911 call and try someone else and it would not go through. I tried 800 numbers as well as numbers of people in Michigan and California and they could not connect. 911 even called me back at one time. Seems to me that it was some kind of test but they left the 911 capabilities working for some reason. You're an idiot, when your phone is in airplane mode or has no service you can ALWAYS access 911. Phones will say "No Service, Emergency calls only". Even on a phone with no service ever. |
