For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst. Matthew 18:19-20 clearly not true. and this: And Jesus answered and said to them, "Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, `Be taken up and cast into the sea,' it will happen. "And all things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive." Matthew 21:21-22 that was after jesus cursed a fig tree to die for not bearing fruit in the season it wasnt meant to in a fit of anger so he clearly meant moving mountains in a literal sense. |

How bout Jesus saaying that if anyone calls his brother a fool he will go to hell, then Jesus turns around and calls people fools. Does that mean Jesus is in hell or is this a case of 'do as I say, not as I do'? How about we're told to "bless those who curse us" which is the exact opposite of what God does - he curses those who curse israel - - shouldn't god be blessing those who curse israel, you know, to be more consistent w/ what he's telling us to do? |
