Charlotte Mecklenburg police finally released the dashcam video of an officer involved shooting of an unarmed black male that happened in 2013. The officers trial is currently being held, but the dashcam shows a completely different narrative than we have heard so far from the victims family. They are claiming he was injured in a wreck and ran to the officers for help. Could it be he wrecked his car because of drugs and charged the officers because he was in a incoherent state? Either way the cops were justified and Charlotte has a huge black population with an ever growing gang problem as well. Link to dash cam is below. Decide for yourself.

It was clear to me that the black man was charging the officer clearly to just aks a question. Lol give me a break I would have shot him too

I'm a retired cop complaining about stupid cops who are shooting people without justification and I'm placing ALL of the blame on the police chiefs and the sheriffs for intentionally hiring unqualified people.

A serious question, Retired cop. What sort of brainwashing, or as you would call "training" are cops going through these days? What's their objective view of civilians? When police these days are put into a stressful situation they have a flowchart mentality without any critical thinking.

APPROACH PERP. IS PERP A THREAT?

IF YES SHOUT VERBAL COMMANDS AT PERP, GUN DRAWN.
IF NO UNHOLSTER GUN AND TRY TO DETERMINE INTENT.

IS PERP OBEYING COMMANDS?

Not sure but I believe soon. Today is day 11 or 12 of the trial. He was already cleared by a grand jury but was brought to trial anyways.
