Denver DA Charges Man with Jury Tampering for Handing Out Jury Nullification Flyers

Jury nullification is one of the few ways Americans can still resist tyranny.

Articles like these need to be printed out and given to friends and placed in airports, bus stops, train stations, and waiting rooms.

This issue really pisses me off.

I was hit by a car driving well above the speed limit and attempting to pass me in the oncoming traffic lane, while ignoring my turn signal.

There was video evidence of the scene that proved the other driver was lying, and he was probably drunk.

He hit me without breaking, although I had come to a complete stop when I heard his engine revving. After he bounced off my car, he skidded over twenty five feet and off the street.

He was not charged with any violations, and I was charged with making an illegal turn on a highway. (It was a 25 mph school and residential zone, where everybody makes y turns and u-turns all the time.)

In fact, it wasn't an illegal turn, and both the law and the Wisconsin drivers manual clearly stated so.

The other driver, on the other hand, admitted to ignoring my signal, and that was a clear violation.

The judge at my first trial destroyed my video evidence and lied about it.

At my appeal, the judge instructed the jury that they weren't even allowed to read a dictionary.

He would not let me show the jury the laws or even the driver's manual.

I made the jury nullification argument in the sense that the jury had the right to be informed, not that my case precisely involved nullification.

The judge was pissed off but he acknowledged the right of nullification, but he said I couldn't argue for it.

As if the jury had to dream up the law and its interpretation all on their own.

The judge insisted (with the jury not present) that it was up to him to interpret the law, and I wasn't allowed to say anything about it.

Then he simply made up his own law. "If the defendant made any sort of turning maneuver in the street, he is guilty."

It was beyond absurdity, and right off into plain insanity.

The jury itself has been nullified.

They aren't allowed to see the law or hear any arguments about it.

They are expected just to bleat like sheep and rubber stamp everything the judge and government want to do.

It is clearly a gross violation of the purpose of juries, which were meant for the people to participate in the judicial branch of government.

Jury nullification is taking back power by the handful.

Of course the usurpers hate it!
