POLL: Would You Pay 10.00 For a Potato Message??
 Yes
 No
What is wrong with people ?
 Blank (View Results)

It's a simple idea. Users go online and order a potato, ranging from $8 to $10, add a custom message, and send it anonymously.
It's also an idea that's making money. Craig says he's sold over 2,000 potatoes, and he's clearing $10,000 a month in profit since he launched the site in May.

Yeah well uh... allright.
"The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title."

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. - H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women

I remember another case like this, a woman for college project set up a website to sell tumbleweeds. Then I think it was Hollywood that started buying them, and it became a business. This was maybe 10 years ago.
