Family Fights Back During West Side Home Invasion, Kills Burglary Suspect

Police say two armed men, Clement Cooper and Michael Long, had been burglarizing the house when a father and his two sons came back from work.

Fights broke out and a woman caught up in the scuffle was shot in the neck.

The father and his two sons were stabbed. One suspect, Cooper, died on the scene. Police took Long into custody. He faces murder charges.

So which was it, a home invasion or a burglary? Methinks that this was a hate crime...
