Rand is the only candidate that does more than pay lip service to the constitution. Rand Paul is the only candidate against NSA spying. Rand Paul is the only candidate that doesn't want to continue nanny state and big brother policies.


Rand Paul has the highest freedom index score for defending the constitution and the entire bill of rights.

I think the GOPe plan to flood the field with many candidates to dilute the conservative vote and get their RINO elected backfired on them this year with the arrival of Trump. Now they are suffering from the dilution!

He's also the most pro-life. But there is a feeling I have just like with Trump, that if he became the nominee, he might come upon some unfortunate "accident" or if he won the presidency. Just like with his father, the media doesn't talk about him at all.

I didn't like the way he smarted off at Trump in the debate. I didn't care when he smarted off at Christie because I knew he was right. I wasn't sure what he said about Trump exactly because it was such a shock and he came across as very angry. I think the media has done this to him because we never hear about him or what he thinks. They destroyed Ron Paul's chances and now they've just kind of lumped Rand in with Ron. The only way he can get any opinions out there is by contradicting the other candidates during a debate.

I used to be totally for Ben Carson but not so much anymore. I'm not sure why. I'm for Trump because he can afford his own security for himself and his family so no one can get to him and I think...I HOPE he will not get beaten down if there should be an election and he wins. I guess I want a loudmouth in office. If anyone can survive and change things it would be Trump, IF HE IS REALLY SINCERE. But I think that Rand would either be assassinated or intimidated by TPTB if he won.

You claim the two party system is broken, and we are all stupid for playing the game. Yet amazingly, you obviously don't understand the game itself. If you did, you wouldn't be saying dumb shit.

Fact is, there are LAWS on the books that facilitate the two party system. There are MANY advantages for a candidate to run under one of the two major parties vice a third party or independent. Funding, screen time, debates, conventions etc., all backed by federal law.

There are literally three things people can do in this country:

1. Completely opt-out and not vote. This is the dumbest fucking political non-action on the planet. If you thought elections were easy to rig or throw before, well thanks asshole you just made it even easier. Even if they aren't rigged, you just made it easier for the worser of the two candidates to get elected. Way to go.

2. Vote for one of the Two Party candidates. Not always a great choice, but this is why getting involved early in the primaries is so important. The more people get involved the LESS likely an "establishment" candidate will win the primary and/or get elected. Opting-out of the primaries is the second dumbest political move an American can make next to not voting at all.

3. Vote Third Party. Clearly, there is only one (among the plethora of smaller third parties) major third party and that's the Libertarians. Obviously, they will not win an election in the near future. HOWEVER, if people were to register and vote Libertarian, if they could reach 5% of the popular vote they would be RECOGNIZED AS A MAJOR PARTY and the two party system as we know it would be over. Yet, I'd put money down that you are neither A.) Registered to vote, B.) Registered as a Libertarian, or C.) Vote at all.

Voting is important. Do it.
