Cop indicted on murder charge in 2013 shooting of unarmed man

"FAIRFAX, Va. – A former Fairfax County police officer who shot and killed an unarmed man as he stood just inside his front door has been indicted on a second-degree murder charge, authorities say.

A special grand jury convened by the commonwealth's attorney returned the indictment Monday against Adam Torres in the shooting death of 46-year-old John Geer of Springfield, northern Virginia."
