playing adventure capitalist helped me understand rich people | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 70076719 United Kingdom 08/18/2015 07:36 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | i always wondered why rich people, the super rich especially, are so obsessed with money, when they should be the people least concerned with it. adventure capitalist is a free to play, stupid little game that amounts to nothing more than clicking on pictures, and watching numbers go up. the money in the game is meaningless (much in the same way that money becomes meaningless to a billionaire), youll never be able to use it to buy anything (billionaires already have everything). it should be a complete waste of time, and it is, but it doesnt feel like it. its horribly addictive. theres a feeling of achievement with every new purchase and acquisition. its a lesson on how easily the human mind can be manipulated into craving and addiction, and more importantly, why rich people continue to strive for more and more money. its an addiction, the addiction to wealth. |
