I absolutely love the way he handles the press. He is ruthless, take no prisoners, not playing their game. If someone asks a stupid or rhetorical question, he tells them it's a stupid question and moves on.

His make America Great theme is much needed.

His current stance on many subjects is right on!

However, what happens when he has to get legislation through Congress? He is a man accustomed to getting things done. Will that be a hindrance when others don't want to go along? He is the Deal Maker, though. I have to keep reminding myself that.

There are other great people vying for this top spot. trump has a definite edge since he seems to be 1) a master at earned media, and 2) doesn't need (and isn't accepting) corporate donors. All the others NEED the money.

If Trump is for real, they will not let him get the republican nomination.

Once 11 or so of the other candidates drop out, those candidates will pledge their support for another candidate who the republicans have chosen to support.Their supporters will more than likely follow.

That chosen candidate will not be Trump.

The candidate will then have the numbers to win the republican nomination.

It will be too late then for Trump to switch to a 3rd party candicy.

If he is serious, he needs to change to 3rd party now. Already Iowa won't accept him as a 3rd party candidate because he declared as a republican.

Could he fight that and win? Probably, but that would still effectively take him out of the race. Especially, when other states jump on that bandwagon.

There is definitely a time limit for him to go 3rd party. Bush or Rubio will be the candidate for the republican party.

I haven't read this thread yet but I heard today on Fox that Trump's immigration policy which was written by Jeff Sessions from Alabama, is the opposite of what Trump is saying.
