Once my clothes got stolen ( we had mutual dressing room too) and I had to sitt naked while everyone got dressed,
I remember that the teacher refused to help me, luckily I convinced a friend to go and get my mum, so she came and took me home, I didnt have to shower with the other kids after that.

OK, for a while in junior high, the gym teacher made everyone take showers, but one kid refused. The sick bastard humiliated him, and as I passed by his office where he was berating the poor kid, he was telling him he wanted his father's phone number, so he could "report" him. (nice touch, making sure the father was involved, little extra humiliation there) And yes, to get back to the showering itself, the closeted homo was there handing out towels individually, so as to get a good look at each dong as it went by..

Any gym teachers wish to comment? Perhaps there aren't any here, it would require rudimentary reading skills..

Funny aside, a couple of years later, the principal, vice principal, (both male)and a FEMALE gym teacher were involved in a sex scandal involving underage girls..

Epilogue to the story, we were mysteriously not required to take showers a few days after this incident.. I suspect some parent heard about his behavior and told the principal in no uncertain terms it had to stop.

I thought this issue went to court. Kids are no longer REQUIRED to shower. Yeah, it's like a prison.

God, people are such assholes.. let's hear it for the teaching profession.

In my case, this was the 70's, but it's great if that's true. It's weird if you are an only child, or have no brothers, otherwise you might be accustomed to it, but really..it's just not necessary.
