How many of you northern folk ready for a half year of winter?

When it was over 40 degrees C here for weeks on end and no rain or wind either, then I made my mind to move further north and have the need for log fires going for about 5 months each year and nice pleasant temps for the rest. So, I guess its different folks different strokes.

Future peoples will be nomadic.

If that's the case, then there will be a huge drop off in the world's population.

I loved my fire place and wood stove.But every time it got below 10 degree's . The wind would gust over 40 and blow smoke back into my home. Winters are too long. I will endure sunshine and hot temps,Boating ,fishing year around.My electric bill is at its highest now,200 a month.
