Rice it had nutrition in it, can be use with pinto beans my favorite, taste better the second day. Tomatoes, potato flake, flour, powder milk, canned meat if you can find it, chicken is good, beef, tuna, etc. Common sense buying, do not buy unless you will eat it and it need to be able to have shelf life. You need soap and other personal items, medical supplies for fever, headache, cuts and thing like this. Toilet paper. Garbage bags, normal things plus containers for water. If you look, just use your brain, you can do it, just know you are putting away thing you will eat, not what you will not eat just more of it. Just make sure you keep the food so it stays well and the bean if you get them put in a sack and in the freezer they keep longer or the refrigerator. All thing like thing to drink, things to and spice to food to give favor like salt, pepper and different spices. Just make sure you get soup making because it goes farther. If you can store cracker buy them of not, learn to make fried bread, just shortening flour and some water if nothing else, you and some shortening to the flour mix, make it not like pancake but not to thick drop some in hot to medium hot oil or shortening and let it cook like pancakes bubbles on the sides and flip works great, taste good too. Self rising flour or make the flour with baking powder soda and salt it is on the package. Or get a cook book with a from scratch biscuit. then again there is ready made biscuit mix you can buy extra. Like I said, use common sense for your needs, but buy extra, think how long each will last your family. Sorry I got a headache These are the times that tries men's and women's souls! May we come though it victorious! |
