As per the latest forecast track.
SSTs and low wind shear = conducive conditions for rapid intensification
This might as well reach CAT II status by late Sunday prior to possible landfall along the Florida East Coast. Folks around here are anxious, i could tell.
But some are damn oblivious.
We haven't had a hurricane landfall in our state since Wilma.- 10 yrs ago this October. Unprecedented for sure.
