Apparently what the military industrial complex needs right now to save the economy, is a new Cold War with Russia, especially because the poor and down trodden in the UK think that food, heat and healthcare is more important than an updated nuclear arsenal. These selfish people are putting their own needs above a useless, dangerous disaster prone Trident system, and the needs of poor Lockheed Corp. so the UK, USs and NATO as well as thr nuclear industry, need big bad Putin to scare everybody into believing the NEW and IMPROVED Trident will keep Russia from invading The UK just like the old Trident did. When the USA stops its joint ventures, such as a $82 million dollar one with Raytheon, and russia, then I'll believe we have tense relations. And fur prices go up when relations are bad, which hasnt happened in twenty years. Putin can put Obama on his knees any time he wants.

Just resurrected cold war rhetoric. I believe there will be no direct confrontation between the US and Russian Federation. Btohs sides know that it will be pretty suicidal. But it does not mean that the US will not fight Russia in multiple proxy wars as it is happening now in Syria or Ukraine. Ze White House will fight Russia till the last willing servant.

I don't think we can claim this resurrected cold war rhetoric, at the time Russia/USA where building/rising and bumping their spheres of influence... while today both are struggling economically, and for my mind we have far many more issues running underneath, economic/financial conflicts, societal conflicts..

And well, in terms of worrisome trend, these migrant issues are far too reminiscent of those in 1914 and 1939 to be mistaken for anything other than signs that conflict is coming.
