This reminded me of what happened the other day, I got a new debit card with that chip on the front of it from my bank not too long ago, when I used it yesterday on the ATM the screen said it "detected a chip" and the card was locked in, it wouldn't give it back to me. I had to cancel out and that's when it gave it back which surprised me I thought it was going to keep it. I have used this card a lot of times since I received it and that's the first time that ever happened to me.

yes, but id does take you outside of your own personal google bubble where your search history influences the search results you get. I guess that you would be in the startpage google search bubble then, which is at least tailored to the whole aggregate of startpage users rather than just reinforcing your own personal bias by anticipating what you're looking for.

It is not like if the system crashes suddenly (like for example the entire stock market crashes) that cash will suddenly be worthless. That no one will accept it.

Prices just go higher and higher so you need more and more cash until EVENTUALLY it is basically worth paper.

So don't INVEST in pure cash, but there is nothing unwise or stupid about taking the cash you have out of your accounts in case these card systems stop working.

If I was going to actually invest in something that will be highly valuable to trade with in the future, I would invest in cigarettes. hehe. People like those.
