Zwarte Piet is a national embarrassment. If it's just tradition and gun, why not paying the kids' faces blue or yellow? Because he has to be black because it's racism.

And why are we still bending the knee to a Spanish bishop anyway? The Dutch hand internalized their colonial past better than any other country, mentally were still Spain's bitch.

It's not easy to persuade people to change a culture.

In Belgium we also have zwarte piet. What we learned as a kid was that originally he was white BUT because he always had to enter chimneys to give presents to the good kids he became black.

Yeah that's what they say now because they're being accused of racism. It's bullshit and there's no evidence of the soot story before the 60s. Zwarte Piet is Sint's black slave.

Funny history anyway. However Sinterklaas(St. Nicholas) had to enter chimneys too. Hey, why he was not becaming black also ?

From what I've noticed they are very very passionate about this tradition, and the UN and 'anti-racist' groups are very passionate about trying to get rid of it!

Holland should immiedately stop paying its UN dues and not pay any more until the UN shuts its mouth.

Since most of their institutions are based here, we need the rent money.

For non-speakers, I'd just like to point out that this Moran is complaining about people who don't like racist icons, then in this final part he demands that anyone who is a complainer be banished from Holland. Irony isn't easy for our bible-belt idiots, any more than in the USA.

Come on peoples. Netherlands is a good country and peaceful. The zwarte piet is not a horror movie actor with a knife (it is not a problem). The real problem is around possibilities of radical islamists getting inside EU. (infiltrated like a refugee ?).
