Widely reported in 1985: The Cosmonauts saw angels in space
On January 5th, 1986, "Parade Magazine", a weekly publication that is delivered to a very great number of homes every week with their Sunday newspaper, ran an article entitled "THE BEST AND WORST OF EVERYTHING". The article was a review of the year 1985. Within that article, under the heading "Best International News" was the following report:

Six Soviet cosmonauts said they witnessed the most awe-inspiring spectacle ever encountered in space - a band of glowing angels with wings as big as jumbo jets. According to "Weekly World News", cosmonauts Vladimir Solevev, Oleg Atkov and Leonid Kizim said they first saw the celestial beings last July, during their 155th day aboard the orbiting "Salyut 7" space station. "What we saw," they said, "were seven giant figures in the form of humans, but with wings and mistlike halos, as in the classic depiction of angels. Their faces were round with cherubic smiles." Twelve days later, the figures returned and were seen by three other Soviet scientists, including woman cosmonaut Svetlana Savitskaya. "They were smiling," she said, "as though they shared in a glorious secret."

---------------------------

NOTE: I was teaching college in CA at the time and there was quite a buzz about this. Ah, the good old days.

Additionally, this was also reported in many primary school weekly readers at the same time as the Parade article.

This reminds me of one sci-fi story in which humanity was diversed into many lines and one of that lines became creatures like you describe. They used the wings to fly on solar wind and accumulate energy.

The angels in space? Are they related to the Iraqi myths that there are beings that dwell in the mountains that are protected by the Iraqi tribes and military?

Re: Widely reported in 1985: The Cosmonauts saw angels in space
I met a guy at church once, who was a successful businessman, proud parent and happily married as well.

He told me a story of how he came to believe in God in the form of a "visitation" he had while he attended college.

A big guy, played football and such, he said he was just like any other guy his age, partying, doing drugs, alcohol, whatever until this one night when "something" appeared in his room.

That something appeared in the form of a HUGE human being, which he said had dimensions which seemed to exceed the size of the room itself, but was glowing, had wings and was sending out this love energy which made him feel safe.

This thread reminded me of this telling to me, something I haven't thought about in years! Thanks OP.

Are the goahould from the singularity claiming sovereignty over man? Are we really just an energy source for them? Does the bible relate to this energy source as us bearing fruit?

Kent, the "Gestalt paradigm" has to be one of the most significant posts with respect to the intent behind global domination by the "Elite", to date.

From my experience the former Soviets even today seem a lot more forthcoming, unless of course they now work for JPL.

The Vatican although not dismissing the Salyut event jumped all over these angels, declaring they were not whom they appeared to be.

Guess these Elohim were outside the Vatican stable of cool angels, and certainly beyond their reach.

I do think we need to look deeper into mind, belief and percolating icon.

More like another case of "Divide and Conquer" politics, at work!

I find the story, however, to be very plausible; I mean, only the other day, I was rubbing-out some pro-islam graffiti that I passed by at a local seafront, and wrote a Christian message right next to it, when suddenly, two VERY pretty Russian girls (16+) walked by (at a distance too far to see what I was doing), and so, I gave them a wave, after feeling a "high" from doing a good deed, AMAZNGLY, the Russian girls waved back!!!!!!! As if they subconsciously KNEW that I was doing something good for the world!

So, Russian people are NOT innately evil, as we have been deceived into beleiving by the NWO social engineers, who, incidentally, are led by the group in the above-quoted text...
