I can tell you I come from a huge Viking family and we are the most laid back, good-natured, and honest, people I know of, always smiling and laughing. It takes a whole lot to get us pissed off, but once our temper is ignited, watch out :)

fact is scandinavians where christened at "gunpoint"
there where several nasty punishments dealt out to those who refused to convert to christianity.

from norway for instance , they tied people out on stakes in the sea, so when the tide came in they would drown, with plenty of time to see it coming.

on the other hand a lot of people probably converted villingly.seing as the scandinavian gods mostly diddent give a shit or liked playing jokes on people.
