This is absurd.
I lived two miles from where that happened.
It was at Heavenly valley, which is pretty much a intermediate resort with only a few expert runs.
The tree he hit was in a glade between two trails, and was relatively low angle.
He was a good skier.
When skiing off trail, you encounter all sorts of obstacles. It is common to hook a tip and get thrown off balance.

The Kennedy death was cause by sheer recklessnes. They were playing ski-football with a plastic soda bottle.

I don't know why but for some reason this has always stuck with me. The circumstances of his death were always fishy to me and the fact that his widow seems to have been "rewarded" with his congressional seat just never sat right with me.

It started to come together when I caught sight on him sitting in on a Congressional hearing over the tragedy at Waco. He was the only one that looked heartwrenched over what they did to those children.

what do you think?? did he start to become a "problem" for them?
