been into Bitcoin for years and the only thing I ever bought with it is pizza. the dark web is done for us citizens. you'd be incredibly stupid to even screw around there. now the suits have bought up the coins. Bitcoin is going big.

all money is technically worthless, but a consensus of people assign a value to it through trust. Bitcoin takes trust to a new level since it is decentralized and has no bank, person, or people controlling it. gold would be the perfect money if it weren't for a few things. it is too heavy and takes too much to transfer between distances and there simply isn't enough of it to be divided into enough pieces to function as a global currency. we'd have to use microscopic denominations. Bitcoin takes all of that and makes it look like flintstones money.

Wrong............... the people with guns FORCE you to accept a worthless piece of paper and they tell you it's money and they tell you how much it's worth.

Nobody would accept paper "money" if the govt did not force them to accept it.

Gold is money. It has always been money. That's why FDR stole it from the American People.

People don't need to carry gold. They can write a check and the bank can give the person the gold, if the gold was still used as money.

National currencies are not worthless. They are backed by its nation's sovereign resources and tax income stream. Bitcoin is backed by its small, manipulated exchange market.

What??? Bitcoin is down 50% in the past 2 years. I sold a while back at 600 or 800, now it's at 241.... Gold has dropped much less percentage wise.

bitcoin is at $240 each which is about what it's been at all year. Problem is any moran can make a new currency which pretty much makes them all worthless. There was 200 of them listed on the market cap page when I stopped following currencies.. there must be 500 now.

Why not just buy some gold in a kitco pool account?
