I agree that it has been a white country, but it wasn't always a white continent. The Spaniards came and slaughtered the earlier Aztec, Incan, and Mayan colonies. When other Europeans arrived, the remaining native Indian tribes were slaughtered, relocated onto different lands and camps, and forced to enter schools as part of their "education" into white culture. How his country was founded is truly a horrific tale of genocide. There is some evidence that pre-Columbian voyages to America included members of the Knights Templar, but that is another story for a different discussion.

The vast majority of Native Americans death in North American was due to disease which isn't "slaughter" or "genocide". Most settler didn't even interact with Native Americans because smallpox travelled fast than the settlers spread.

The US was founded the same way almost all other countries were founded.

I would like to know why the author of the article refers to himself as a hispanic yet claims to be sixth generation mexican? What's wrong with calling yourself a mexican american? Why is he ashamed of himself?
A hispanic is the umbrella term that includes cubans, puerto ricans, el salvadorans, etc.
Why is he still using his mexican surname? He obviously wants to be white. He sides with the whites. He doesn't understand that no matter how much he looks in the mirror, a white face will not stare back.
He does not understand that he's the token non spanish speaking brown boy amongst his friends and they talk behind his back.
