What used to be entry level jobs, generally jobs for kids during the summer, have somehow become permanent employment by people who could do no more in their lifetime if they tried. All this will do is swell the welfare rolls from partial assistance to permanent full subsistence payments. Small home-style restaurants I think will continue to do fine, especially in areas where they have a regular clientele and are community supported. The rest will not fare so well. |

Yea, as a kid working at 'Jack in the Box' I watched the workers pissed at the restaurant because they didn't get a 25 cent an hour raise spit into the milk shake machine. That permanently ended my desire to buy milkshakes from any fast food joint. lol People can be arrested for doing that. |
