So nothing has reopened. And some of the places have been emptied out. One has concertina wire placed along the roof, but they are going to reopen despite no signs of plumbing work?

if the economy collapses, you can be assured, that when they 'reopen' in November, it wont be to sell food and clothes....

When they reopen, it'll be interesting to note the "changes" made to the interior of the stores.

If I were one of the former employees, I wouldn't return - even if I was offered a substantial raise. Hell, if I was a resident in any of the towns that house these Walmarts, I would be long gone before they "re-open".

People who shill for Walmart deserve a stake through the brain. Whether there is some demonic government shit going on with this "plumbing" problems, is still up in the air. But their monopoly on small town America is so factual, it's absolutely revolting. Oh, and let's not forget their filthy handprint in Global warming.

-Acres of natural town landscape is destroyed to make way for WALMART! Yippee!!!
-Walmart opens up in town, offering Chinamart products for 1/10 other neighborhood competitor supermarkets and grocery stores.
-Majority of neighborhood stores close, because of overwhelming loss of profits.
-Walmart builds second Walmart, not even 3 miles from first location.
-Remaining competitors admit defeat, and close.
-Walmart closes first or second, or both locations, leaving vast vacant parking lots which produce overwhelming amount of heat, perfect for increasing the area temperature, conducting dangerous thunderstorms
-Not only is the town fucked, and now needs to drive to the city (to the ~*~Super~*~ Walmart, no less), but now they're going to suffer the consequences of having one or many vacant lots that are so unimaginably big, you could fit a whole shopping mall on them. But of course that will never happen, because hometown is about to become ghost town! Thanks Walmart!
