I remember being really little and listening to his records and watching him on Partridge Family. First crush I had was on Sean on Hardy Boys..yeah, I'm that old.

I admit right off the bat I haven't watched the video completely yet. I look at it from both sides of the coin.

Side 1: Is David out promoting a book, album, song, tour? What did you expect if you have nothing going on career wise that your troubles wouldn't come up and be talked about?

Side 2: The media loves this shit. Damn near foaming at the mouth when celebrities fall from grace. "You used to be a heartthrob for so many women and teenage girls and now you're a bankrupt drunk. What up with that?" You can tell they get off to this shit. And this is the side of me that feels sympathetic towards David and towards any other celebrities that fit into this category. Maybe you're a drunk, drug addict, having a nervous breakdown, money problems--hard enough to go through all of that shit without the media fapping away at your problems.

Still watching and I see why he's getting pissed. Come on, what's the comparison for what big shot David Cassidy was getting paid back in the 70s for being on The Partridge Family and during the high times of his career compared to what the big shots on The Big Bang Theory or even Friends get paid now and from a few years ago? My guess is what Cassidy brought in back then would be considered 'lunch money' to the stars of today. There's that huge of a difference and there's also a case of 'shit happens'. You got plans for what your life is going to be like and for some reason(s) or another it sometimes doesn't pan out like you thought.

Come on! I do think he's a bit drunk but these questions are so fucking stupid! Talking about supportive fans, what's up with that? Do these interviewers really expect David to say "Well, I've been talking with some of my fans and they say I hope I lose everything else and have to go live under a bridge somewhere." WHAT THE FUCK?

Yeah, the questioning had a good share of "gotchas." But Cassidy knew he was going to be doing this interview live, and he should've been totally sober and ready -- especially for the inevitable rude questions.

On the other hand, the TV network surely knew beforehand that Cassidy wasn't ready for a live interview and should've cancelled it.
