Thinking of taking a WEED vacation to Colorado..any suggestions.

Do some hiking. Colorado is beautiful and perfect weather at this moment!

Be warned though there are no weed shops in Colorado Springs like you will find in Denver. You can still go to dispensary but the Springs has been alot more conservative about implementing legal weed.

In fact the State of Colorado made so much taxes on weed sales that now they have to give some of it back to the people, ie schools, roads, etc.

The only thing I know is that some people can't handle the higher altitudes like Aspen.

Native roots is the dispensary of choice.

If staying in Denver, there is a weed friendly B&B called "Adagio Bud and Breakfast" located on the longest and some say the most notorious, avenue in the U.S. called "Colfax Avenue". (Playboy called it the "wickedest", but that was in the '70s). I think the B&B fairly expensive, but I don't know your budget.

Get a Westword and check the back page for deals. Tourists usually pay a pound of flesh, but you will find some of the best deals listed there. Mile High Medical usually has the best deals on 8ths and quarters.

I 2nd that one, definitely one of the better ones. You have to remember to bring in their "Bag" though or they charge you. And always bring cash, these places have debit machines and other, but they charge for it.

What you'll have the most trouble with, is finding a hotel that will allow you to smoke. Many have flat out banned it. Also hit up craigslist. If you bring the cash, you'll have a good time, but it requires some research.

Pot is legal over in Manitou Springs, it's where all the "beautiful" people hang out now...begging for change, smokes, weed handouts, leftover fast food...

The town will shrivel up before long, the tourists don't want to go there anymore, and that was it's financial backbone. Everyone with a brain saw it coming...but not it's enlightened residents. Now it's been flooded out several times as well...
