Has anyone else seen this along the East Coast? I Have never seen a white helicopter in our skies before ... they're usually black.

The choppers that usually traverse the southern coast of RI fly fairly low.

I've read about the U.N. white choppers being sighted on the West Coast (Seattle) but never on the East Coast. Is this in preparation for the Pope's visit to New York?

There is nothing odd about that. White helicopter though, that's a little weird. Any weird lighting that would make it look white?
